Okay, fair enough. We've probably gone too far in this blog without answering a basic question that comes up from time to time. What is a Web Host? A web host is a company that helps you get your website on the internet. A web host has computers that are known as servers that are connected to the internet all the time. Yep, as in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A web host provides services needed to store your website files and make your website accessible to people that are surfing the internet. You can think of a web host as the home for your website code and content. Just like you store files on your home computer, a web host stores your website files and displays them when someone visits your site.
