GoDaddy has just launched a new free product feature included with their domain names.  It's called "InstantPage". marketing copy for the new web page building feature includes, "In less than 5 minutes, you’ll have an eye-catching web page or contact form". Instant Page

This new feature may actually be a reduction in their domain offerings.  Previously when you registered a domain, you could build a free 5-page Website Tonight site.  GoDaddy has taken away the option to create the free 5-page Web Site Tonight site, and replaced it with Instant Page.  It appears older domains may be grandfathered and still have the 5 page website tonight option.  Now the five-pager was no windfall offering as it included GoDaddy advertisements on the little mini-site (read - should you Use Website Tonight from GoDaddy to Build Website?).

So what do I think of the new Instant Page?  I know you can't see me, but I'm shrugging my shoulders and yawning.  There's really not much you can do with it, other than throw up a little page while you're building a real web site.  I guess that's a win as you move away from the ugly and potentially offensive GoDaddy PPC monetization page.

I haven't seen a press release yet, or other GoDaddy marketing material on the new product.  It will be interesting to see how Go Daddy spins this new web page creation tool, if it even deserves the "tool" description.

In the meantime, if you're looking for web hosting, vett the different choices with our unbiased website hosting reviews. If you're in the market for a domain name or GoDaddy SSL Certificates, we highly recommend GoDaddy.  Their Website Tonight product?  Not so much. Hosting just $1.99/mo! 468x60

I appreciate this post! I don't use GoDaddy in my usual business, until recently and am now looking for support as to the need for more than InstaPage . . . eventually. . . and, sooner rather than later.

What I'm finding with InstaPage is that I cannot adjust coding. I found you, looking for a way around what seems to be the InstaPage offerings.

Also, I'm not interested in showing GoDaddy ads on the site, so the "Website Tonight" won't work. Looks like it's Website builder commitment, or bust!

Don't hesitate to contact me for any further information to which you've become privy.
