Noticed Blogger hosted blogs haven't been updated for a while? There's a reason for this ... Google Blogger is now fully back up and running. Blogger had been down for 20.5 hours during which users could not create or edit posts. The outage started Wednesday night May 11th. The Google tool said its outage and reliability problems were due to “data corruption” that started during scheduled maintenance. However, some entries from the past two days are still missing; Google said they are in the process of being restored. We've mentioned plenty of times before on this blog that it's a good idea to self host your blog. Review those posts again, and quit playing around. Get hosting for you blog today, and take control of your site!
